Shipping policy

1. Order Processing Time

All range hood orders placed with IAMSII will undergo professional processing within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends, public holidays in the USA/Canada, and IAMSII company holidays). This processing period includes order verification, product quality inspection, secure packaging (tailored for range hoods to prevent damage during transit), and preparation for shipment.

Customers will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing an order, followed by a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once the order is dispatched. Please check your spam/junk folder if these emails are not received within the specified timeframe.

2. Transit Time

After order processing is completed, shipments to the United States and Canada will take 3-5 business days to reach the designated delivery address. Transit time is calculated from the date of dispatch (as indicated in the shipping confirmation email) and may vary slightly based on the following factors:

  • Remote regions (e.g., northern Canadian territories, rural areas in Alaska) may require an additional 1-2 business days.
  • Peak seasons (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas, Thanksgiving) or unforeseen logistics disruptions (e.g., extreme weather, customs delays) may extend transit time temporarily. IAMSII will proactively communicate with customers in such cases.

3. Shipping Carriers

IAMSII partners with reputable logistics carriers in North America to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of range hoods, including but not limited to:

  • United Parcel Service (UPS)
  • Federal Express (FedEx)
  • Canada Post (for Canadian domestic shipments)

The choice of carrier will be determined based on the delivery location, package weight (range hoods typically weigh 20-40 lbs), and shipping efficiency to minimize transit time.

4. Product Packaging & Protection

Given the structural complexity and fragility of range hoods (including glass panels, motor components, and control knobs), IAMSII uses specialized packaging materials and methods:

  • Thick corrugated cardboard boxes with reinforced edges
  • EPE foam padding for all vulnerable parts (e.g., glass, control buttons)
  • Plastic film wrapping to prevent moisture damage
  • "Fragile" and "This Side Up" labels to guide carriers during handling

5. Delivery & Receipt

  • Carriers will attempt to deliver the package to the shipping address provided by the customer. If no one is available to receive it, the carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions for rescheduling or picking up the package.
  • Customers are required to inspect the range hood package upon delivery. If any damage is found (e.g., torn packaging, dented box), please:
    1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and the product (if visible)
    2. Refuse to sign for the delivery (if damage is severe)
    3. Contact IAMSII customer service within 24 hours of delivery attempt

6. Custom Clearance (for Cross-Border Shipments)

  • For shipments from the USA to Canada or vice versa, IAMSII will provide all necessary customs documents (e.g., commercial invoice, product certification) to facilitate clearance.
  • Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. IAMSII will not be liable for delays caused by customs clearance issues.
